# About Quickbase AI

Quickbase AI helps you build, analyze, and improve your Quickbase apps using natural language. Describe what you want to do, and Quickbase AI determines which actions and tools to use based on your permissions.

## How Quickbase AI works

Quickbase AI coordinates different AI capabilities and app actions on your behalf. Quickbase AI:

- Understands your natural language request
- Breaks complex tasks into smaller steps
- Provides the Quickbase tools and data available based on your permissions
- Calls [AI models](/v1/docs/quickbase-ai-models-and-security) to generate suggestions or configuration changes
- Confirms you want to apply proposed changes before taking action

Quickbase AI may ask clarifying questions and always asks for confirmation before taking action in your apps.

## What can I do with Quickbase AI?

Quickbase AI can help with many different tasks across your apps. Here are some examples of common ways you can use Quickbase AI to speed up your work:

## Copy Quickbase AI answer to clipboard

After Quickbase AI responds, you can copy the response to your clipboard. Select the **Copy to clipboard** icon next to the feedback options below the response. Use this to save an answer for reference, paste it into another tool, or share it with a teammate.
