# Assign a mobile dashboard to a role

App admins can use the desktop app to assign dashboards to roles for mobile and desktop users. If you don't assign a mobile dashboard to a role for mobile users, mobile users see the desktop dashboard by default. Here's how to assign a mobile dashboard to a role:

1. In the desktop app, open your app and select **Users > Settings > Roles**. You'll see a table of roles, permissions, and assigned home page for each role.
2. Select the role. 3. In the **Role Mobile home page**field, select the dashboard from the drop-down menu.

Your selection saves automatically.
