# Change the Billing Account Administrator

## To change the account administrator:

1. Make sure you have [added the user as a Billing Account Administrator](/v1/docs/add-a-billing-account-administrator).
2. [Access the Manage Billing Account page](/v1/docs/access-the-account-summary-page).
3. Select **Account Summary**.
4. At the top right of the page, select the **More** drop-down, and select **Edit Account Properties**.
5. Within the **Billing Contact Email Address** field, type the address of new billing account manager.
6. Select **Apply Changes**.

> [!NOTE]
> Note: You must be a billing account administrator with full management rights to perform this task. Quickbase does not allow you to remove yourself from Permissions page. If you want to be removed, you must follow the procedure above to assign a new Billing Account Administrator. The new administrator can then remove you from the list.
