# Change the group name or description

1. Select the user menu on the global bar, then select **Profile**.
2. Within the **Groups I'm In** box, select the name of the group you want to edit.
3. On the left side of the page, select **Edit Group Properties**.
4. Make the necessary changes in the dialog that displays, then select **Save Changes**.
