# Change the spacing on forms and reports

Adjust how much space appears between form elements and between rows in reports, search results, and the table Home page in Quickbase. This setting affects only your experience—it does not change how spacing appears for other users.

There are three spacing options: *relaxed*, *regular*, and *condensed*. Quickbase uses regular spacing by default. To show more information on the screen at once, choose condensed spacing.

## Change your spacing preference

1. Select your user menu on the global bar.
2. Select **Profile**.
3. In the My User Preferences section, choose one of the UI Spacing options: **Relaxed**—adds more space between elements and rows

**Regular**—balances space and readability

4. Select **Save** in the page bar to apply your choice.

Your spacing setting applies across all apps you use in Quickbase.
