# Copying pages

If you're creating multiple Home pages, text pages, or rich text pages for your application and they're all somewhat similar, you don't need to start from scratch each time. Save yourself some work by copying the page. Then you can [customize](/v1/docs/customize-the-app-home-page) the copy however you want.

## Copy a Home page, Rich Text page, or Code page

1. Open the application that you want, then select **Settings**.
2. Select Pages.
3. Locate the page you want and select its Copy icon (![](https://cdn.document360.io/dd260e4e-10bb-4b66-8fb3-5504c272b904/Images/Documentation/copyicon.png)).

The copied page appears at the bottom of the page list.

Tip: When you copy a page, the prefix *Copy of* is added to the name. To change the name of the page, select the name of the page and make changes in the **Page Name** box.

**Note:** If the dashboard was designed prior to the 2013 rollout of drag and drop home pages, you will not be able to copy it.
