# Deactivate an email

You can temporarily suspend an email by deactivating it. This gives you the option to activate the email and send it at a later date if you need to.

To deactivate an email:

1. Display the list of emails for a table in one of the following ways:
  - Choose a table from the sidebar that contains the email that you want. Select **Settings**in the page bar, then select **Emails**.
  - For a personal email, select your profile on the global bar. Then select **Personal emails** and **My emails**.
2. To activate or deactivate multiple emails, select the checkbox next to the names of each one you want to deactivate. Then select **Activate** or **Deactivate**at the top of the table.
3. To activate or deactivate a single email, locate it, then select the checkmark in the **Active** column. A green checkmark (![](https://cdn.document360.io/dd260e4e-10bb-4b66-8fb3-5504c272b904/Images/Documentation/28627880311060.png)) means the email is active.
