# Delete data from multiple tables

Permanently remove all records from selected tables while keeping the structure of your app intact.

Use this option when you need to clear all data from any tables without rebuilding the app. For example, this can be useful if you've created an app with sample records to test it out, which you now want to delete so you can start entering live data.

> Once a record is deleted, you cannot retrieve the data it contained.

## Delete all records from a table

1. Open your app.
2. Open the **App settings** and select **App management**.
3. Under **Manage App Contents**, select **Delete data**.
4. If your application has multiple tables, select the table with data you want to delete.
5. Select **Yes, delete all records** to confirm the action.

> [!NOTE]
> Note: Depending on what you call records in your app, this button text may vary (for example, *Yes, delete all tasks* or *Yes, delete all contacts*.)
6. To delete data from more than one table, repeat steps 2 to 5 for each table.
