# Disabling Application Webhooks

Use this feature to disable the native Quickbase application webhooks within the [realm policies page](/v1/docs/security-policies). Doing this increases security by ensuring the only method for sending messages out of Quickbase is through the [Pipelines webhook channel](/v1/docs/webhooks-channel) – which offers increased governance and logging. When you enable this, it will stop all existing webhooks from firing and hide the ability to create new ones.
