# Email a report

Share reports with others by emailing them. You can email table, summary, calendar, and timeline reports. Charts or grid edit reports cannot be emailed.

> Important
> 
> If the report you're emailing contains a link to a file attachment, and that field has been set to allow open access, the file is available to *anyone*who clicks the link.

To email a report:

1. [Display the report](/v1/docs/create-new-reports) that you want to email.
2. For table, summary, or timeline reports, select **Email** on the page bar. For calendar reports, select **Email > Report**from the menu at the top of the report.
3. Complete the information for your email, entering the email addresses, user names, or [group](/v1/docs/what-is-a-group) names of those who should receive the report. Or, add users from a list by selecting the [Quickbase Address Book](/v1/docs/quickbase-address-book). Use commas, semi-colons, or line breaks to separate your entries. Enter a message in the email body, or leave the Quickbase default message.
4. Select **Send**.
