# Find recently viewed data and favorite reports

Find records you recently viewed and favorite reports by selecting the star icon in the global navigation bar.

![Favorites icon is directly after the search field in the global navigation bar](https://cdn.document360.io/dd260e4e-10bb-4b66-8fb3-5504c272b904/Images/Documentation/33837563986196.png)

This opens **Favorites and recents in this app**.

## Add favorite reports to the list

See [learn about adding favorite reports](/v1/docs/using-favorites).

## What's included in recently visited

The list includes the last ten records and reports you opened across all tables in the application that's currently open.

Records or reports won't appear in the recently visited list if you can no longer access them. For example, if a record that you recently opened is deleted, it is not included in the list. Likewise, if an app admin moves a table out of this app, all entries that point to records in that table disappear from the list.

### Record display format within the recently visited list

Usually the information that shows up in the recently-visited list is enough to help you select a record. It might be something like *Contact Name* plus a record number.

App admins can [change the fields that appear in the recently visited list](/v1/docs/setting-record-picker-display-fields) so they're more informative and helpful.
