# Formula checker

Use the formula checker to review the result and runtime of each expression in a formula.

## To use the formula checker

2. The field ID auto-populates with the current field ID. Enter a record ID, and then run the checker. The checker displays each expression, the result of the formula on that specific record, and the runtime of that expression.
