# Reduce usage to comply with service plan limits

If you're over the limits of your service plan, you have 30 days to [bring your account into compliance](/v1/docs/going-over-the-limits-of-a-service-plan) by reducing usage. You must reduce your usage until you comply with *all* of the limit conditions for your service plan. This means that you must reduce your usage for *each* limit condition that you exceed.

To reduce your usage to comply with your service plan:

1. Find out which conditions cause you to [go over the limits of a service plan](/v1/docs/going-over-the-limits-of-a-service-plan).
2. Reduce your usage for each limit that you exceed by doing the following:
  - **Reduce app space—**If you exceed the app space limit, then you must [delete data](/v1/docs/delete-a-record) from your app's tables or [delete entire apps](/v1/docs/deleting-apps).
    - If you still need access to the data, [export it](/v1/docs/export-data-from-tables) before deleting.
    - If you choose to delete whole applications, make sure that you delete apps that are no longer used.
  - **Reduce attached file space**—If you exceed the attached file space limit, then you must [delete attached files](/v1/docs/delete-file-attachments) until you're under the plan limit.
    - You may need to [manage the app's file attachments](/v1/docs/managing-an-applications-file-attachments) if you have many attached files across several tables.
  - **Reduce the number of users**—If you exceed the users with access limit, then you must reduce your number of users by [denying some access](/v1/docs/deny-users-access-to-a-realm) to your account until you are under the service plan limit.
