# Remove a realm-approved flag

To remove a user from a [realm](/v1/docs/realm-overview):

1. On the My Apps page, select **Manage *name_of_realm***, then select **Users**.
2. Locate the user who you want to remove.

Tip: You can search for users by first name, last name, user name, and email address. You can filter the list based on user status and can sort the list by any column by selecting the column header.
3. Select the check box next to the user you want to remove from the realm and select the user's row.
4. From the Settings tab of the User Info page, select **Realm approved** to remove the check mark under **The user is** section.
5. Select **Apply** to remove the user from the realm.
