# Review and approve deployments in the SLM app

The Solution Lifecycle Manager (SLM) app provides the ability to review changes and give approval prior to deploying changes to the production environment. The app integrates with the [List solution changes from record](https://developer.quickbase.com/operation/changesetSolutionFromRecord) API to show a list of changes included in a deployment, making it easy to review what will be updated.

This article explains how to use the SLM app to see what changes were made and approve deployments.

## Find deployments pending approval

If you are an assigned approver, you'll find deployments pending your approval on the **App home** of the SLM app.

Any deployments that require approval are not pushed to production until an assigned user has given approval.

## Review changes

1. On App home, select the eye icon to open a deployment pending approval.
2. Select the **Changes** tab. You'll find the list of updates that will be deployed once approved.

The **Change Summary** section provides an overview of the changes, including number of additions, updates, and removals.

The **Change Details** section provides additional information on the changes made, including the name, type, action, and description of the change. For supported resources, the description provides a link to view the changes in the current environment.

## Approve changes

Once you have reviewed the changes, select the **Approve** button to trigger a pipeline to push your changes.
