# Text My Quickbase extension

Use the Text My Quickbase extension to send and receive text message notifications within Quickbase. This extension allows you to:

- Send notifications based on triggers (like new or modified records) or schedules
- Have two-way text conversations in real time
- Automate responses to simple queries
- Log messages in Quickbase

Text My Quickbase requires registration with [Esendex](https://esendexusa.com/) (our business messaging provider) before authorizing and configuring your app for text messaging.

## Set up Text My Quickbase

To set up text messaging for your app:

1. [Register with Esendex](https://esendexusa.com/)—the business messaging platform used to manage your phone number for text messaging. Esendex provides you with a license key and 10-digit long code (10DLC) phone number, which are required in order to complete the following steps. Contact Esendex to [get a quote](https://esendexusa.com/get-a-quote/) for SMS API pricing.
2. Log in to the [Quickbase Extensions Portal](https://extensions.quickbase.com/qb/extensionportal) to authorize the app you want to use for Text My Quickbase.
3. Contact [support@juicedtech.com](mailto:support@juicedtech.com) and request support to configure fields from your app for Text My Quickbase.
