# Arrange cards and use card actions

## Overview

A **card** is a visual representation of a specific data point that can be displayed on your dashboard. There are a variety of card types that you can add and customize, including charts, grids and values, activities, quick buttons, and web links. These cards can be rearranged and resized on your dashboard according to your needs.

## How to move a card

1. Hover your mouse over the **top** of a card until your cursor becomes the **four-arrow move cursor**.
2. **Drag and drop** the card to your desired location.

## How to resize a card

1. Hover your mouse over the **bottom right-hand corner** of a card until your cursor becomes a **diagonal arrow**.
2. **Drag** the card to your desired size.

> 
> Quick button and web link cards cannot be resized using this method, but can be maximized and minimized using the Card Actions menu.

## Other card actions

To access other card actions (**refresh**, **edit**, **maximize**, **duplicate**, **delete**, and **minimize**):

1. Select the **three-dot menu** on the top-right corner of a card.
2. Select your desired card action.
