Create a Quickbase table from a FastField form

Prev Next

Integrating FastField with Quickbase allows you to centralize your data and streamline workflows across platforms. One of the newer features in FastField is the ability to create a Quickbase table directly from within a form. This eliminates the need to switch back and forth between systems to build and map tables manually. By leveraging this feature, you can quickly push form data into Quickbase and control how your fields are structured and synced—all from one place.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Q: What does the "Unique" option do?

A: When a field is marked as unique, FastField will overwrite any existing entries in Quickbase that match the value in that field. This is useful for preventing duplicates in key fields like IDs or emails.

Q: Can I map my form to an existing Quickbase table instead of creating a new one?

A: Yes. Instead of choosing "Add New <(beta)>," you can select an existing table from your Quickbase connection.

Q: Will this feature create the fields in Quickbase exactly as they appear in FastField?

A: You can customize the field names, types, and validation rules during the table creation process to ensure they match your Quickbase needs.
