Near Field Communication (NFC) allows devices within a few inches of each other to transfer and read information wirelessly. FastField can use NFC scanning to read data from electronic tags attached to objects. This data can be used to pre-populate form fields or embed location data. An inspector can scan unique equipment items, log site locations, all within a touchless environment with near-field communication.
The NFC field supports the following standard NFC types:
NFC Forum Tag 1 Type
NFC Forum Tag 2 Type
NFC Forum Tag 3 Type
NFC Forum Tag 4 Type
