This article covers how to add an Embedded Photo field, upload its image, and configure its settings. ## How the Embedded Photo field works An Embedded Photo field displays a fixed image that's part of the form. Users see the image, but they can't replace it. For example, an inspection form can show a wiring diagram so technicians know what a correct installation looks like. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/dd260e4e-10bb-4b66-8fb3-5504c272b904/Images/Documentation/emb-03-preview-example.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-29T23%3A46%3A56Z&se=2026-10-30T00%3A46%3A56Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=IOhYYKPoCOGJnSMfXuWEEVy6IPfca%2FJFzymM%2FDLt8SI%3D) You can also let users draw on the image, for example to circle damage on an equipment diagram. In **Field Label**, enter the name users see, for example *Wiring Diagram*. 2. Under Image, select **Upload Photo**, then choose an image file. 3. In **Quality**, select the image quality. Choose *PNG* for diagrams and line drawings. 4. To limit the image size on the form, enter a value in **Max Height (px)** or **Max Width (px)**. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/dd260e4e-10bb-4b66-8fb3-5504c272b904/Images/Documentation/emb-02-settings.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-29T23%3A46%3A56Z&se=2026-10-30T00%3A46%3A56Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=IOhYYKPoCOGJnSMfXuWEEVy6IPfca%2FJFzymM%2FDLt8SI%3D) To replace the image, select **Re-Upload**.
