# How to add a sketch/annotation field

## Overview

FastField allows form users to annotate (i.e., sketch, draw) on top of embedded photos in a form, which is useful for providing visual details or emphasizing areas in need of attention.

1. Add an **Embedded Photo** field to your form in the Legacy Form Builder.
2. Select **Upload Photo** and choose the image that you want the user to annotate on top of.
  - This will be the sketch pad. You could upload a blank white image, an image of graph paper, a diagram, a site map, etc.

3. Select **Allow Annotations**.
4. After you **Save**, **Publish**, and **Share** this form, the form user will need to tap on the image in-app to sketch on top of the image.
