# Introduction to submissions

## Overview

**Submissions** are the end product of form completion. A submission contains the final input data from the form and has the ability to hold rich media, such as photos, GPS locations, videos, and audio recordings. In the **Submissions** window in the Portal, you can:

- Download your reports
- Download the rich media attached to submitted forms

## Unique IDs

**Unique IDs** are assigned to each submission, making them finite and traceable. In addition to the unique submission ID, you are also able to add a **Display Mask**.

## Filters

To make navigating and retrieving submissions quicker, use **filters**. Filters let you sort by time, form name, user, and more to locate your data fast. Save these parameters in filters for future reference and ease of use.

## View submissions in the mobile app

View your completed forms in the **Submitted** tab. From here, you can:

- View and download PDF reports
- Copy and edit a form
- Create a new submission
- Edit an existing submission
