# Publish and name your form

## Overview

Publishing a form means you are making it available for use with your latest updates. By default, your form will be given the name *New Form* followed by the date and time of creation. You can rename your form to provide more clarity, enhance organization, and optimize searchability by following the steps below:

## How to name your form

1. 2.   - Additionally, you can use a [Display Mask](/fastfield/docs/display-masks) to dynamically name your form using field data collected from the form.
3. Select **OK** to save this new name.

## How to publish live

1. 2. Any changes saved in a draft will not be seen outside the form, libraries, or app until the form is published.
  - Confirm that you want to publish your form by selecting **Publish Live** again in the window.
3. Your form will then be saved to your default library.
