# Dispatch state definitions

Here are the definitions of **Dispatch** states you will see in our "**View Dispatches**" area of the Portal

**Dispatched** – State of a form that has been dispatched to a user but has not been accessed/retrieved on the recipient's device.

**On Device** – State of a dispatched form retrieved via the recipient's Inbox on their device.

**Started** - State of a dispatched form that has been opened on the recipient's device.

**Late** - State of a dispatched form that has not been submitted by the specified due date.

**Completed** - State of a dispatched form that has been completed and submitted by the recipient.
