# Transfer dashboard ownership

Now, it's simpler than ever to share analytics by transferring dashboard ownership to another user within your account. This eliminates the need to reconfigure cards for a user. This article walks you through the process step by step.

## How to transfer dashboard ownership

To transfer ownership of a dashboard to another user within your FastField account:

1. 2. 4. Select the **User** you would like to transfer ownership to through the provided drop-down menu.

#### Q: Can I transfer dashboard ownership to someone outside of my FastField organization?

**A:** No, dashboard ownership can only be transferred to users within your FastField account.

#### Q: I've been given ownership of a dashboard, but why don’t I see it or only see some of the dashboard cards?

**A:** Please make sure the new owner has the appropriate role as well as the correct libraries that are associated with the cards on the dashboard.

#### Q: Who can I transfer dashboard ownership to?

**A:** The admin can transfer dashboard ownership to any user within your FastField account.
