Make sure that your Quickbase account can send out *open* email notifications. If it is not able to, you will need to reach out to Quickbase with a support ticket and ask them to modify your account to allow you to create *open* email notifications. By default, this feature is turned off. 2. Once you have access to create an open email notification, select **+New Email notification**. 3. Select your **Trigger Field** to be whatever you would like to cause QB Maps to run. If you want to geocode to get the lat and long, you can set this to the address fields to always have an up-to-date lat and long. For example, a notification named *Update Lat&Long* on an Airport table, triggered when **Any of the following fields change** with **City**, **State**, **Zip**, and **Address** checked. If you want to calculate the distance using a button, learn how to [set up a button to trigger the distance calculation](/quickbase-extensions/docs/send-text-message-app-button). Copy the following information into your email notification: - Copy this text into the **Notify Whom** field: qbmapsbatch@mail.quickbasetools1.com - Copy this text into the **Subject** field and update it to include your company name: QB Maps Batch - Your Company Name - Copy the arguments you want to use into the **Custom Message** field: [QBMaps Console Arguments]
