Would Like To Use Your Current Location* — with **Don't Allow** and **OK** buttons. Select **OK** (or **Accept**, in browsers that word it differently). The user's current location then appears on the map with a red pin that has a black circle in it. > [!WARNING] > For instructions on how to enable location services on your mobile device, see [Enable location services on Apple and Android devices](https://cdn.document360.io/dd260e4e-10bb-4b66-8fb3-5504c272b904/Images/Documentation/location-services---apple-and-android.pdf?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-05T10%3A09%3A50Z&se=2026-11-05T11%3A09%3A50Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=06v559%2BbDuweGbbqMF%2F9F84or1oNgxZh9CuK%2BeNfCEI%3D). ## Store the user's current location in a record To store the user's current location, you need to add more parameters to the Formula URL that generates the map, in addition to the changes listed above. - Include the parameter *&locdbid=* with the bid of the table you want to store the location into. - Add the parameter *&locrecid=* and the record ID# of the record you want to update. You can leave this blank to create a new record. - Also put the parameter *&qbuserid=* and *UserToEmail(User())*. This gets the current user's account and stores it in the record. - Finally, include the parameter *&locclist=11.12.34*, which is the list of field IDs of the latitude, longitude, and user fields to store the data in.
