The wizard page is titled **Docusign for Quickbase Set-up**. The steps on the left are **Authorization**, **Application Information**, **Docusign Setup** (this step), and **Finish**. The step has two parts: the table setup at the top, and the signer setup below it. ## Before you start: connect your Docusign account Docusign for Quickbase sends documents for signature from your company's own Docusign account. Connect that account before you run the wizard: 1. Sign in to the Extensions Portal and select **Client Credentials** in the left menu. Only your company's Client Admin sees it. 2. In the **DocuSign** section, check the **Auth Option**. With **Access Tokens**, select **Generate Docusign refresh token** and sign in with your company's Docusign account. For the details of each option, see [Client Credentials](https://help.quickbase.com/quickbase-extensions/docs/en/client-credentials#docusign). The wizard doesn't ask for a Docusign account and doesn't check that one is connected. If none is connected, the wizard still finishes without a message, but Docusign for Quickbase isn't linked to your company's Docusign account. Don't send documents for signature until you've connected it. If the **DocuSign** section reads *No DocuSign settings found.*, or you can't connect your account there, submit a [technical support case](https://help.quickbase.com/docs/get-help-from-quickbase-technical-support). ## Table setup 1. **Select Table to Setup** (required). A drop-down list of your app's tables. Choose the table you want to send files for signature from. Ideally, it's a table that already has the document to send, or will have it. The wizard adds the Docusign for Quickbase fields to this table. 2. **Prefix for Labels** (optional). Text that the wizard adds to the start of the name of every field it creates on the table. Use it if you set up the same table more than once, so you can tell the setups apart. For example, with the prefix *Project*, the **Send to Docusign** field is named *Project Send to Docusign*. 3. **Select a Field that has the file to be signed** (required). It starts at **Select a File Attachment Field** and lists the table's file attachment fields. Choose the field that holds the document to send for signature. If you don't have one yet, choose **Create a Field** (the last item in the list). - **Name of the Field** (required). Appears only when you choose **Create a Field**. Enter the name of the new file attachment field. 4. **Record ID# of Document Template** (optional). Shown only if your app already has a **Document Templates** table, for example from one of our document generation extensions. To use an existing template record with Docusign, enter its Record ID# (1 or higher). Leave it blank and the wizard adds a sample template, with sample recipient tags, for you to start from. ## Signer setup Each signer has its own tab. The step starts with one tab, **First Signer**. Select **Add Another Signer** to add **Second Signer**, **Third Signer**, and **Fourth Signer**. The wizard sets up to four signers. To add more later, see [Docusign email recipients](https://help.quickbase.com/quickbase-extensions/docs/en/docusign-email-recipients). Each tab has: 1. **Signer Type**. How this signer is asked to sign, if at all. The choices depend on the tab: - **Email** (all tabs). The signer gets an email at the address in the signer's email field, and signs after opening Docusign from that email. - **Captive** (**First Signer** only). The first signer signs right in Quickbase. When someone selects **Send to Docusign** in your app, the envelope is created and the first signer signs in that same pop-up window. Use it when the signer is with the person sending the envelope, on the same device. - **Receive a Copy** (second to fourth signers only). This recipient doesn't sign. They get a copy of the document once the earlier recipients have completed it. 2. **Field that has the name of the signer**. A list of the table's text fields. Choose the field that holds the signer's full name. If there isn't one, choose **Create a Field**. - **Name of the Signer Field**. Appears only when you choose **Create a Field**. Enter a name for the new text field. 3. **Field that has the email address of the signer**. A list of the table's text and email fields. Choose the field that holds the signer's email address. If there isn't one, choose **Create a Field**. - **Name of the Email address field**. Appears only when you choose **Create a Field**. Enter a name for the new field. ## Finishing the step This is the last step before **Finish**. Select **Finish** to install Docusign for Quickbase. Select **Previous** to go back to **Application information**. If something is missing, the wizard stays on this step and shows one of these messages: | **Message** | **What to do** | | --- | --- | | *Please select a table from your Quickbase application that you would like to generate documents from.* | Choose a table in **Select Table to Setup**. | | *The usertoken selected does not have permissions to create fields in the
