Learn more about [posting a temporary token from a Quickbase field](/v1/docs/post-temporary-token-from-a-quickbase-field). In this article, we discuss recent changes to your URL fields that may have impacted the size of the pop-up window that appears when you open it. If you have questions about changing any of these fields, submit a [technical support case](https://help.quickbase.com/docs/get-help-from-quickbase-technical-support). ### URL pop-ups During a recent security update to all of our extensions' fields, we removed JavaScript from fields in order to be compliant with Quickbase, and so that we could update the formula fields further to utilize the latest and greatest security features that Quickbase has to offer. Unfortunately, a majority of the JavaScript that we have removed from the formulas was there only to open URLs as a pop-up window—a hold-over from a time when Quickbase URL fields did not feature their own pop-up setting. While we have updated the URL fields to open as a pop-up using the new setting, there is no way to control the size of the window innately from a Quickbase URL field. However—if you need your pop-up window to be of a specific size, there is a solution—you may convert your **Formula URL Field** to be a **Formula Rich-Text Field**. Rich-Text has access to a few properties that allow you to designate the width and height of the pop-up window. The following is an example of how to take an existing Formula URL field and modify it to work as a Rich-Text field. We always suggest creating a new field for the Rich-Text field to avoid losing your existing URL field. For our example, the following is our formula: ```plaintext "https://www.aws-juiced-client2.com/Juiced/DocumentPortal1/?" & "clientid=Q0000" & "&appid=" & AppID() &"&dbid=" & Dbid() &"&cloud=s3" & "&msid=" &  [Record ID#] &"&clouddirectory=" & [Document Portal Directory] &"&cloudbasedirectory=" ``` You will copy this and create a new **Formula Rich-Text Field**. Then, paste this formula into the new field, adding *var Text url =* to the beginning and a semicolon (*;*) to the end, as shown in the following example: ```plaintext var Text url = "https://www.aws-juiced-client2.com/Juiced/DocumentPortal1/?" & "clientid=Q0000" & "&appid=" & AppID() &"&dbid=" & Dbid() &"&cloud=s3" & "&msid=" &  [Record ID#] &"&clouddirectory=" & [Document Portal Directory] &"&cloudbasedirectory=" ; ``` This will give you an error that we fix in a moment. Next, add the following text to the end: ```plaintext "Button Name" ``` Replace *Button Name* with the text you want to appear on the button. The resulting formula should look like the following: ```plaintext var Text url = "https://www.aws-juiced-client2.com/Juiced/DocumentPortal1/?" & "clientid=Q0000" & "&appid=" & AppID() &"&dbid=" & Dbid() &"&cloud=s3" & "&msid=" &  [Record ID#] &"&clouddirectory=" & [Document Portal Directory] &"&cloudbasedirectory=" ;"Document Portal" ``` The last thing to do is to change *data-height* and *data-width* to whatever values you would like to size the resulting pop-up window. If you have questions about changing any of these fields to comply with our new security measures, submit a [technical support case](https://help.quickbase.com/docs/get-help-from-quickbase-technical-support).
