One contains a list of all the locations being displayed on the map and the second allows the users to get the best route between a source and a destination of choice. ## Features - The Add-on allows the users to setup **multiple queries** in Quickbase to get only the required locations from one, two, or as many tables as needed. - Additionally, a predefined **radius** (in miles) can be set to retrieve only those locations from the database that lie within the set radius. - The **pins/markers** on the map can be customized. Along with this, the info-window or the pop-up that appears after a marker on the map is clicked can be customized to show data that is retrieved from Quickbase. - The Add-on provides a list of locations that are displayed on the map. A specific **marker** can be selected from the list or from the map directly to view information from the record it comes from. - The "**Get Directions**" tab allows users to set a source and a destination by either selecting the pins to be source or destination or by entering the address in the input text box. This route can then be opened in Google Maps. - Users can draw a shape on the map to **select multiple pins** and get the best route between all of them, in addition to a single source and destination. - The QB Maps add-on also allows users to create a **legend** to provide quick info of different pins that are being displayed on the map. This legend can be enabled or disable by checking a simple checkbox present on the screen. - The Add-on can plot the user's own **current location** on the map, and optionally save that location's latitude and longitude back into a Quickbase record. - A **circle** can be displayed around the central location, with a configurable radius, color, and fill. - The default **map style** (roadmap, terrain, hybrid, or satellite) can be set, and users can also switch between styles while the map is open. > The batch version of QB Maps has it’s own set of features such as geocoding and distance calculating. You can find information about them [here](/quickbase-extensions/docs/batch-features-and-functionality#geocoding-the-latitude-and-longitude).
