Select **View**, then **Show/Hide**, then **Cursor Coordinates**. **Cursor Coordinates** is the last item in the **Show/Hide** submenu, below **Rulers & Grids**. 2. Move the cursor over the document. A small black box appears at the upper left of the document area and shows the position of your cursor relative to the document, for example *X: 221 pt* and *Y: 225 pt*. ## What if the units are displayed in inches? If your coordinates are displayed in inches, you can change them to show points, which is the unit we use. 1. Go to the menu at the top of the screen: - **Windows:** Click the hamburger menu (top left) > **Preferences**. - **macOS:** Click **Acrobat** in the top menu bar > **Preferences**. 2. Select **Units & Guides** from the **Categories** list on the left side. 3. In the **Units** section, change the **Page & Ruler Units** value to **Points**. 4. Select **OK**. The coordinates are now displayed in points.
