This tool executes predefined actions against your Quickbase app when a record is added, modified, or deleted. The QB Trigger can be designed to perform one or many actions against your Quickbase app when fired. QB Triggers take advantage of the Quickbase Email Notification functionality to trigger a unit of work to be performed.
We have designed many custom triggers to perform various actions against our clients' Quickbase apps.
Triggers play a major role in our 4-in-1 demo. Triggers are the automation mechanism that connects our 4 tools in this demo. You can sign off on a proposal (1-Signatures for QuickBase), automatically generate a PDF proposal document (2-Exact Forms Plus), and then automatically email that document to a client as an attachment (3-Courier for QuickBase). All this is accomplished by using Triggers (4-Triggers for QuickBase).

Emailing files stored in file attachment fields to any email address, Quickbase user or non-user, as an email attachment:
