Here you choose the Quickbase app to set up the extension in. **Setup Table** skips this step, because the app is already chosen; see the [installation wizard overview](https://help.quickbase.com/quickbase-extensions/docs/en/juiced-add-on-installation-wizard-overview). ## The Application Information step Under the heading **Select a Quickbase Application**, the step shows: 1. **The app grid**. Every app that the user token from **Authorization** can access, one per row. Select the radio button, or anywhere on the row, to choose an app. For example: | **Select** | **Application Name** | **App ID** | | --- | --- | --- | | (radio button) | Project Manager | bxxxxxxxx | | (radio button) | Sales Pipeline | bxxxxxxxx | If the app you want isn't listed, select **Previous** and choose a different token, or give the token access to the app in Quickbase, then open the wizard again. 2. **Authorize Only No Setup Required** (optional). A checkbox. Check it to authorize the app for the extension without changing the app: the wizard saves the app and the user token with your Extensions account, and nothing else. Use it for a copy of an app that already has the extension's tables and fields. The checkbox appears when you opened the wizard from the Extensions Portal for an extension that has extension-specific steps. 3. **Upgrade Setup** (optional). A checkbox that appears only for XL Docs and JuicedSign. Check it to add or update the fields of an existing setup without doing a new one. The app must already have that extension's tables. You can check only one of the two checkboxes; checking one makes the other unavailable. Either one makes this the last step, so the button at the bottom reads **Finish** instead of **Next**. ## What Next does **Next** (or **Finish**) stays unavailable until you choose an app. When you select it, the wizard checks that: - The user token can see the app's tables. - The token can create tables and fields in the app, if the extension adds them. - The app is ready for the extension. For example, EZ File Importer stops if the app already has its tables, and Package Builder stops if the app has no document generation extension yet. With **Upgrade Setup**, the app must already have the extension's tables. If everything checks out, the wizard goes on to the extension-specific steps. When this is the last step, **Finish** saves the app and the user token with your Extensions account. If the app was already authorized for this extension, the token you chose replaces the one on file for that app. The finish screen then shows one of these: | **When** | **What the wizard shows** | | --- | --- | | **Authorize Only No Setup Required** was checked | *The Application with Application ID - has been authorized successfully with the chosen user token.* and *You may now close this pop-up.* | | **Upgrade Setup** was checked and the wizard changed something | *The Application with Application ID - has been successfully upgraded.*, followed by the list of changes | | **Upgrade Setup** was checked and the app was already current | *The Application with Application ID - is on the current version of , no further action is needed from the Wizard.* and *You may now close this pop-up.* | | The extension has no extension-specific steps (Text My QB, QB Courier, Image Resizer/Rotator) | *Thank you for authorizing for your Quickbase Application!*, then ***No further action is required from you at this time.***, then *Keep a lookout for an email from our team. We'll be reaching out to you at with the next steps as soon as possible.* and *In the meantime, you can refer to our documentation site Quickbase Tools Documentation on the features, functionality, and DIY set-up (if available) of .*, with a link to the extension's documentation. No email is sent. For QB Courier, the email lines are replaced by *You may now get started creating your new Courier Configuration(s).*, with a pointer to **Configurations** on the QB Courier tile. | ## Messages If something is wrong, the wizard stays on this step and shows one of these messages in a red banner: | **Message** | **What to do** | | --- | --- | | *Please select an app.* | Choose a row in the app grid. | | *The application selected returned 0 Tables using the selected usertoken. Please check your permissions with the selected token.* | The token's user can't see any tables in the app. Give that user access to the app's tables in Quickbase, or go back and choose a different token. | | *The usertoken selected does not have permissions to create tables in the selected app. needs permissions to create tables in order to continue the setup.* | Give the token's user permission to create tables in the app, or choose a token for a user who has it. | | *The usertoken selected does not have permissions to create fields in the table. needs permissions to create fields in order to continue the setup.* | Give the token's user permission to create fields on that table, or choose a token for a user who has it. | | *Upgrade not available for - it does not have required tables for upgrade. Please proceed with the normal setup for this application.* | Uncheck **Upgrade Setup** and continue with a normal setup. | | *We have noticed that the Application you have selected already has the tables related to EZ File Importer.* (EZ File Importer) | Check that you chose the right app. EZ File Importer can be set up once per app from the wizard. | | *This application does not currently have any of our Document Generation add-ons installed. Please install one of our Document Generation add-ons before attempting to install Package Builder.* (Package Builder) | Install Exact Forms Plus, XL Docs, or PDF Stamper in the app first. See [Package Builder Setup](https://help.quickbase.com/quickbase-extensions/docs/en/package-builder-setup). | If you choose an app that was unauthorized for this extension earlier, the wizard shows its error page with error code **465.1**.
