# Text My Quickbase setup

Text My Quickbase is a powerful tool to be used with Quickbase, but it does require some set up. Text My Quickbase can be set up to both send texts outbound and receive texts inbound.

First Authorize Text My QB to work in your app through the [installation wizard](/quickbase-extensions/docs/juiced-add-on-installation-wizard-overview) in the portal, then use the [Text My QB Configurator](/quickbase-extensions/docs/text-my-qb-configurator-overview) also in the portal to setup your configurations.
