Copy a Role

This topic refers to functionality that is not available to accounts on the Quick Base Essential plan. If the functionality described here does not match what you're seeing in Quick Base, your account is probably on this plan.

To copy a role:
  1. Choose Home from the Table bar, click SETTINGS, click Roles, then click the role you want to see.

  2. Locate the role you want to duplicate.

  3. To copy the role, click its Copy icon (). This icon is located in the rightmost column of the roles list. Quick Base creates a copy underneath the original, with the name "Copy of --role name--."

  4. To change the name of the copied role, click the name, then click the Properties tab and enter a new name in the Name box. When you're finished making changes to the new role, click Save.
