Configure OneLogin Provisioning for Quick Base

New identity management (IdM) integration capabilities in Quick Base are available in early access. Using the standard System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) specification, you can sync Quick Base with OneLogin.

Features supported

The following provisioning features are supported:


Before you configure provisioning for Quick Base, make sure you have:

Sign in to OneLogin

  1. Sign in to OneLogin with an account that has admin privileges.

  2. Click Administration on the right in the top menu bar.

Configure Quick Base integration

  1. Select APPS from the top navigation bar in OneLogin, then select Add Apps.

  2. Search for "Quick Base" and choose the entry with "Form-based auth, SAML2.0, browser extension, provisioning."

  3. On the Configuration screen, enter a Display Name. For Connector Version, make sure SAML 2.0 is selected, then click SAVE.

  4. Select Configuration. Enter your Quick Base realm name, SCIM Base URL, and SCIM Bearer Token. In API Status, click the ENABLE button.

    Note: Your SCIM Base URL is: https://{yourRealmName}

  5. Select Parameters:

    Add the following values:

    Quick Base Field Value
    Email Address Email
    First Name First Name
    Last Name Last Name
    NameID Email
    SCIM Username Username
  6. Select SSO. In the Enable SAML 2.0 section, copy and save all the SAML 2.0 information to another file. You will need to provide this information to Quick Base for your realm SAML configuration.

  7. Select Provisioning:

    In the Workflow section:

  8. Click the SAVE button to save the settings in the Configuration, Parameters, SSO, and Provisioning sections.

Provisioning users

To create a new user in your OneLogin account, follow these steps:

  1. Select USERS, the click the NEW USER button.

  2. Enter the user’s First name, Last name, Email, and Username, then click SAVE USER.

  3. Click MORE ACTIONS and select Change Password.

  4. Enter the password assigned for this user, which needs to be supplied to the user separately for their initial sign in, check Force user to update, then click UPDATE.

Adding users

  1. Select Applications and click the plus sign (+).

  2. Select your application and click CONTINUE.

  3. Update any information for the user, then click SAVE.


The maximum length for user first name, last name, email, and username is 255 characters.

Spaces are not allowed in username and email values.


ERROR Solution
Message: "Provisioning failed: Multiple users in the realm match the given user's email address." Add the SCIM external IdM username to the correct user in the realm and re-provision the user. This message appears when your realm has multiple users that share the same email address. Go to the Quick Base Manage All Users page in the Admin Console, find the user, and provide the username that matches the username stored in your IdM system for that user. After the user is saved, re-provision the user in the IdM.
Provisioning failed: Multiple users in Quick Base match the given user's email address, but none exist in the realm. Add the correct user to the realm and re-provision the user. This message appears when there are no users currently in your realm that have this email address, but multiple users exist in Quick Base that share the same email address. The user must be added to your realm for provisioning to succeed.
The updated user attribute (First name, Last name, email) is not reflected on the Quick Base Manage All Users page Make sure the user is a user whose email domain belongs to the company, or replace the API token used to configure the account with a realm admin who is an in-company user.
