Track Account Usage

This topic refers to functionality that is only available to accounts on the Quick Base Platform or Quick Base Unlimited plans. If you do not see the functionality described here, either your account or realm has not been configured to show it, or your account is not on one of those plans.

The plans mentioned above offer instant visibility into account usage. If you're the administrator of an account on one of these plans, you'll be invited to access a dedicated Quick Base application that tracks several variables for account maintenance and access control.

Your Administration application lets you:

  • Budget and Control Expenses. Do you have multiple teams/divisions using Quick Base. You can apportion out each teams cost and bill them for their portion of expenses. Better yet, set a budget for each group and let your realm administration application keep track of who's over their limits.

  • Monitor Growth. Who's added the most users lately? Track application growth by space, file attachments and number of users.

  • Find inactive users and applications. Are you paying for users who haven't accessed your applications in months? Track frequency and cull out inactive users. You can even set activity thresholds to get regular alerts when user visits fall off.

  • Monitor External Access. See a list of outsiders (users not in your organization) who have access to data stored in your realm. You can also see which of your applications are open to everyone on the Internet.

  • Monitor General Access. Keep track of all traffic within your realm.
