View and manage your past chats in Quickbase AI

Prev Next

Beta feature

This is a beta feature, which means we're still developing it. Some functionality may change.

The AI Agent keeps a history of your conversations so you can revisit earlier work, pick up where you left off, or reuse a prompt without retyping it.

View your past chats

  1. Open Quickbase AI in Quickbase

  2. In the left sidebar, select the Past chats icon (the clock symbol)

Your past chats appear as a list, with each entry showing the opening prompt of that conversation (for example, build me a table to track work orders). Past chats are grouped by when they were created.

Search your past chats

Use search to locate a specific conversation instead of scrolling.

  1. In Past chats, select the Search chats field at the top

  2. Type a keyword from your original prompt, such as table or work orders

  3. The list filters to show matching chats. Select a result to open it.

Resume a past chat or start a new one

You can continue any previous conversation in its original context, or begin fresh.

  1. In the Past chats list, select the chat you want to reopen

  2. Review the conversation and continue chatting with the AI Agent where you left off

  3. To begin a fresh conversation instead, select New chat at the top of the panel
