Duplicating a form gives you a full copy to use as a starting point for a new form. This article covers what a copy includes and how to duplicate a form from the portal or the Form Builder.
How duplicating works
A copy includes the form's settings, fields, rules, lookup mappings, workflows, and report templates. It doesn't include the original form's submissions or version history.
The copy gets the original name followed by Copy, for example Work Order Copy. If that name is taken, a number is added. The copy starts at Version 1, and changes to it don't affect the original form.
Note
Each copy counts toward the number of forms your account can have. If you've reached the limit, you can't duplicate the form.
Duplicate a form from the portal
In the portal, go to Forms > My Forms.
Search for your form.
Select Actions, then select Duplicate Form.

FastField makes the copy right away and shows Duplication Complete. The copy appears in your list of forms.
Duplicate a form in the Form Builder
With the form open in the Form Builder, select Actions in the toolbar at the bottom of the canvas.
Select Duplicate Form.

Select Yes, make a duplicate of this form.

The copy opens in the Form Builder, ready for you to edit.
Tip
Unsaved changes aren't part of the copy. Select Save Draft first if you want them in the copy.
Note
The Assistant can't duplicate a whole form. It can duplicate pages, sections, and fields within a form.
