Courier for Quickbase

Set up your Quickbase tables for each processing option—On Demand, Scheduled, and Triggered

Scheduled and on-demand email sending options

  1. Create a report within your Quickbase table that contains the records you want to send in your Courier email configuration. The report in Quickbase must be a Table Report. Other Quickbase report types don't work.

  2. Add the appropriate filtering criteria to your report so you only identify the records you want to include in that email configuration.

  3. Note the Report Name and ID# that you just created. You need to enter this report name in the Courier configuration.

Triggered email sending option

  1. Check if your Quickbase account can send Open email notifications by looking at your Permission Type in email notifications. This means you can send email notifications to non-Quickbase users. If your account is not set to Open, open a support ticket with Quickbase to request the change. Ask for your account to be modified to allow you to create Open email notifications. By default, all accounts are set to Not Open.

  2. Enter the table that you want the Triggered Courier configuration to run from and create an Open email notification.

Example email notification

Below is an example email notification from one of our demo apps. Recreate this in your own app using the fields that work for your specific case.

Note

This example predates the current interface, but the field values shown are still accurate.
