DocuSign started offering stamping as part of its signature tag, so recipients can first insert an image as a stamp and then sign the document.
DocuSign introduced this feature for its clients in Japan, where signing with a stamp is a common practice.
It's called sending and signing with eHanko.
Our integration now supports this functionality. To do that, add a new signature tag for a recipient and set its Stamp Type property to Stamp.
When a recipient receives an envelope to sign, they see the stamp tag shown in the following image.
Once they select the stamp, they're asked to upload an image, which DocuSign inserts into the document.
There are a few things to keep in mind before using this tag:
This tag is always required. You can't use this tag as an optional tag.
You can only use this feature with a signature tag (not an initial signature tag).
You have to set the Stamp Type property of this tag to Stamp.
This feature must be enabled in your DocuSign account, from the sending and signing options section.
