When the wizard finishes, it shows a confirmation page:
The heading Congratulations, you have successfully installed QB Signatures in your Quickbase Application! and a link to this documentation.
Selected Table: a link to the table you set up.
Added fields to this table: the fields the wizard created, listed under the table's name.
To close the wizard, select the X in the corner of its window.
What the wizard created
The wizard creates no tables. It adds these fields to the table you chose in Select Table to Setup:
Table/Field | Type | What it's for |
|---|---|---|
Signature File | File Attachment | Stores the signature image. |
Sign-off Date | Date / Time | Set to the date and time the signature was saved. |
View Signature | Formula - Text, with Allow some HTML tags | Shows a small preview of the signature on the form. Blank until the record is signed. |
Sign Off | Formula - Text, with Allow some HTML tags (button) | The button that opens the signing window as a pop-up on a computer. |
Sign Off (Mobile) | Formula - URL (button) | The button for phones and tablets. Opens the signing window in a new window and returns to the record after saving. |
Your signer fields | Text | Only the ones you chose Create a Field for. The signer's entries are saved here. |
Depending on your form settings, the new fields may be added to the end of the table's form automatically. If they aren't, add them to the form.
Next steps
