JuicedSign Setup

Prev Next

When setting up JuicedSign, for the final step, you encounter the JuicedSign Step. Here, you select the various options that affect the setup being done on your app.

The first section denotes the table setup, and the second section denotes the recipient setup.

Table setup

  1. Select Table to Setup—This is the table you would like to add JuicedSign to. Ideally, this is a table where you either already have a document to send out, or you are going to have a document to send out in the future.

  2. Prefix for Labels—This is used to add a prefix to the field names that are created by the Wizard. The primary use-case for this is if you are performing a second JuicedSign setup on the same table, so you can easily differentiate the fields from one another. As an example, if you set the prefix to be Project, then all the created fields are named Project {Field Name}, for example, Project Recipient String.

  3. Select File Attachment Field—This is the file attachment field that is used to generate the JuicedSign agreement to be sent. If you do not have a field for this yet, you may choose Create a Field.

  4. Record ID# of Document Template—If you have set up any of our extensions that created the Document Templates table previously, you can choose to enter the Record ID# of an existing Document Template record, and this JuicedSign setup uses that Document Template. This does not appear as an option if you do not have the Document Templates table.

Recipient setup

You may add up to 4 signers in the Wizard. You can add more manually—visit JuicedSign Master Table Fields—Recipient String to learn more.

  1. Signer Type—This denotes how the given signer is prompted to sign the JuicedSign agreement, if at all. Here are the options:

    • Email—The signer receives an email (at the email specified in the Signer Email Address Field) and can sign after launching JuicedSign from that email.

    • Captive—When the Send to JuicedSign button is pressed in your Quickbase app, after creating the agreement, the first signer signs in that same pop-up. This is used if the user creating the agreement in Quickbase also plans to have the signer sign immediately, on the same device (for example, they are in the same room).

      Note

This is only available to the first signer.

    • Receive a Copy—If you want to send the JuicedSign agreement to an email that is not supposed to sign the agreement, but only receive it, you can declare that signer as Receive a Copy.

      Note

This is only available after the first signer.

  2. Signer Name Field—This is the field that has the name of the given signer. If you do not yet have a field for this, you can select Create a New Field.

  3. Signer Email Field—This is the field that has the email of the given signer. If you do not yet have a field for this, you can select Create a New Field.
