JuicedSign Account Setup

Prev Next

When setting up JuicedSign for the first time, you encounter the JuicedSign Account Step. This is used to gather all the details we need to send out JuicedSign agreements.

Note

This account settings step only shows up on the first setup. If you need to change any of these settings after you have finished the setup, you can go to the Management Portal.

  1. Default Sender's Name: This is the name of one of your 5 senders included with your account.

  2. Default Sender's Email: This is the email address associated to #1—the Sender.

  3. Email Prefix: This field is used as the high order value for the email sender that JuicedSign uses for your account. Typically, it is your company name. This is used as part of the sending email address as seen above—when an email is sent out, if the value of Email Prefix is Acme, then the email comes from acme.{Email Alias—see #4 below}@juicedsign.net or, as the example above shows, acme.contracts@juicedsign.net.

  4. JuicedSign Email Alias: This is the next value used as part of the sending email address. This is typically more precise than the Email Alias and, as seen above, can be related to a function, department, or even the initials of someone. The example says contracts but could have also been jt as the initials of the person sending emails, etc.

  5. JuicedSign Sending Email: This field is informational only and is not editable. It reflects the actual sending email address that is used to send documents from for your account. As we mentioned already, having added Acme as the Email Prefix and contracts as the Email Alias, the sending email is acme.contracts@juicedsign.net.

  6. Default Reminder Delay (in days): This field is used by our messaging process to alert recipients who have not signed their documents. After a set number of days from when the agreement was created, we start reminding them to sign.

  7. Default Reminder Frequency (in days): This field is used by our messaging process to remind recipients again after this number of days, and then continue reminding them at the same interval until the transaction is finished, such as being signed or voided.

  8. Default Expire After (in days): This field is used to set an expiration for the agreement—if nothing has occurred to the agreement in a set number of days, it expires. This message is also sent to the recipient by email.

  9. Default Expire Warning (in days): This field is used to alert recipients a set number of days before the agreement is about to expire.

    Note

At times there may be many recipients as part of the signing process within a linear progression—once Signer 1 signs, send to Signer 2, and so on. If Signer 2 never receives an agreement to sign because Signer 1 never opened the agreement, this recipient and anyone else down the progression do not receive the alerts mentioned above.

  10. Sending Logo (optional): Include a URL or link to a specific image or logo on your website, or from your Quickbase app. If this is not entered, we use a standard JuicedSign logo for the emails.

  11. Landing Page URL (optional): Include a link to a web page used as a confirmation page after a document is successfully signed via JuicedSign. If this is not entered, we display a confirmation webpage instead.
