For inbound text messages, you can receive files and images that the user sends to your Esendex number.
To save these images in Quickbase, start by creating file attachment fields in the table that receives your texts (the Messages Received Table in your inbound configuration) to store the images and files.
We recommend creating about 5 or more file attachment fields if you don't know how many files you could receive.
Then open your inbound configuration in the Text My QB Configurator and go to the Attachments Configuration section, which is the last section of the inbound configuration page. There are two ways to store the files:
Save each file in its own field. With the Zip Attachments switch off, two lists appear side by side: Available Fields (left) and File Attachments (right). Drag your file attachment fields from Available Fields to File Attachments (or select them and use the transfer arrows between the lists), then save the configuration. The first file received is saved in the first field in the File Attachments list, the second file in the second field, and so on.
Zip the files together. Turn the Zip Attachments switch on. The two lists are replaced by a single Zip Attachment Field drop-down. Select the file attachment field where you want the zip file stored, then save the configuration. All of the incoming attachments are zipped into that single field.
