Step 2: Authorization

Authorization step

When adding an extension to an app for the first time, the wizard appears with the Authorization Step.

If you are a returning client, you likely see a grid of your User Tokens. We keep these encrypted on our end, and show you the last 6 characters for access.

Note

The Exact Forms Plus wizard is used as an example here. This wizard step is the same across all of our extensions.

You may then select the User Token you would like to use for this extension on the app you're setting up.

Note

Please ensure the User Token that you select has enough permissions in the app you are intending to set up—the wizard needs Table Creation and Field Creation permissions.

If you would like to enter a new User Token, you can select Enter a New User Token in the Authorization Method dropdown at the top. If you are not a returning client, this is automatically selected. You get a textbox asking for the new User Token:

Once you either enter a valid User Token or select a User Token from the grid, select Next to proceed to the next wizard step.
