SAML authentication request signing (Optional)

Prev Next

Realm and account admins can optionally request Quickbase technical support to enable the SAML Sign Authn Requests option when configuring SAML in Quickbase.

Important

When SAML Sign Authn Requests are enabled, Quickbase and the customer’s IdP must share the same public authentication certificate, or logins will fail. Each year, Quickbase rotates this certificate during a scheduled maintenance window, requiring customers using this feature to coordinate updates in advance. View your realm’s authentication settings

Navigate to the Realm summary page in the Admin Console to view whether your realm uses SAML authentication.

If your realm uses SAML, the page also shows:

  • Whether SAML signed authentication requests are enabled

  • The expiration date of the public authentication certificate, if SAML signed authentication requests are enabled

This information helps you confirm your current configuration and plan certificate updates.
