You can enter duration field values in three different formats:
Numbers
You can enter durations using numbers, for example 3, .56, -7, or 1.24, “.” and “-” characters are allowed.
Time format
You can also use time format 00:00:00 for durations. Hours, minutes, and seconds are displayed in two-digit numbers separated by colons. For example, use 02:00:00 to indicate 2 hours.
Number + Unit format
You can enter durations in a number + unit format, for example 3 wks. The following table lists all the accepted units and abbreviations you can use in this format.
