Connect child records to a parent when you import data by importing into a lookup field.
Requirements
To import into a lookup field:
You must have permission to view records on the parent table.
The lookup field must be marked unique on the parent table.
Your role must have Modify permissions for the lookup field. Learn more about custom field permissions.
Import into a lookup field
Begin your import using one of the methods available in Quickbase.
If there is a unique lookup field available, it will show as one of the field import options.
Complete the import. Quickbase automatically links child records to the correct parent records.
