Beta feature
This is a beta feature, which means we're still developing it. Some functionality may change.
AI-assisted troubleshooting in Pipelines helps you understand and resolve runtime errors in pipelines more quickly. It explains errors in plain language and suggests steps to fix them.
How AI troubleshooting works
When a pipeline fails, AI troubleshooting analyzes the error and provides an explanation with recommended next steps.
When an error occurs, you can view an AI-generated explanation that:
Explains the error in clear, user-friendly language
Provides context about what happened during pipeline execution
Suggests specific steps you can take to resolve the issue
These insights help you reduce time spent debugging pipelines and resolve issues without deep technical investigation.
View an AI troubleshooting explanation
Open a pipeline from the Pipeline Builder.
When a pipeline run fails, open the pipeline’s live activity panel.
Select Troubleshoot next to the failed step.
Quickbase displays an AI-generated explanation of the error and suggested solutions.
You can also view troubleshooting details later from the activity log:
Open the pipeline.
Go to the Activity log.
Select the failed run.
Select Troubleshoot to view the AI explanation and recommended fixes.
From the Activity log, you can also select Open pipeline to make edits.
Troubleshooting is available for up to 30 days in the Activity log.
Requirements
AI troubleshooting is available only when AI features are enabled for your realm. If AI features are not enabled, the Troubleshoot option does not appear in pipeline activity.
